Flashbacks have white panels with rounded corners.
Continuing on the second half of the first chapter. I decided that now was a good time to improve my inking skillz, and I actually added a smidgen of shading!
Anyway, I sort of love this page and sort of hate it, for different reasons.
Btw, this is a flashback: to indicate that, I used curved light-gray panels and gray lettering instead of straight lines and black lettering. I hope it's fairly clear.
While I love the folds of the cloaks and anatomy (although I noticed some time ago that Argenta slowly got closer and closer to Aurea's height...), I really, really  don't like Argenta's expression in the second panel. She is supposed to look solemn, but it somehow came out that she looks like she's making puppy-dog eyes. Like, it completely ruins the mood. Urgh. (I really like the shading in her eyes though...)
